I can’t express how much more benefit you’ll get out of this course with a written journal for your homework, misc. notes and epiphanies, and other changes you want to take note of along the way.
Your homework journal is part of your way to quickly building the bridges in your brain to the habits and attitudes you want, and noticing, breaking, and rerouting away from the old unwanted bridges! Plus, most of the homework builds on previous homework.
Writing with pen and paper has a deeper affect, but use a note taking app if that works better for you. Talk-to-text is excellent in a hurry or if you’re not good at journaling, despite the typos- just laugh at them later! Just be sure to get it recorded. Many lessons in this course depend on you doing previous homework activities.
If you’re REALLY not going to journal and do the homework? I hope this is not the case! Results may vary if you choose to not follow the directions- it’s not recommended to skip your homework. But keep going anyways! DO NOT use it as an excuse to back out of what you really want. See the lesson called “No Bargains, Bucko!” parts 1 & 2 for more on that. In every case, listen and learn from the lessons and apply what you’re learning in everyday life.
